Welcome to Yankee knitter Designs,
Knitting has always been a part of my life. My mother owned a yarn shop and our family knit.... all of the time. After college I joined my mother at her store,The Yankee Knitter. While there I designed many knitting patterns, publishing some, and that was the beginning of Yankee Knitter Designs. I am, and always have been, a "one woman show", running every aspect of the business by myself out of my home. My husband just finished renovating the top of our barn into an office/studio and I feel very "official" now!Many thanks to all of the knitters and wonderful yarn stores that have supported Yankee Knitter Designs over the years. You have made it possible for me to turn my love of knitting into the most wonderful job I could imagine! Happy Knitting!
